The Seminole Nation of Oklahoma Presents

Seminole Nation Days Celebration 2010

Mekusukey Mission, Seminole, OK - September 10th through 19th

Welcome to the 42nd Annual Seminole Nation Days! Our event is held at the historic Mekusukey Mission during Sept. 10-19, 2010. Tribal Resolution 2006-118 permanently established the date as the 3rd weekend in September. Mekusukey Mission, the original site of an early 1900s boarding school, is located 2 miles south (on Hwy 99) and 2 miles west (on Hwy 59) of Seminole, Oklahoma on approximately 80 acres.

The Seminole Nation provides free concerts, carnivals, and cultural events throughout the week and are open to the public. Other events include an art contest, fishing derby, banquet, princess pageant, cultural events, parade, and sports competitions. A free traditional dinner is also provided to provide a sample of the traditional foods of the Seminoles. Join us in celebrating the culture, community involvement, and determination of Seminole people.
